What’s on …. this Summer
Woodland Wonders for children – Singing, Creative Arts and Yoga
We are running another fantastic singing, music, movement, drama and yoga session for children aged 4 to 9 approx.
Let’s go into the woods and explore!
We are bringing together two fantastic children’s specialists to provide an exciting new session helping children develop their creativity and imagination whilst teaching essential stress techniques to help reduce anxiety and promote mindfulness and wellbeing.
Melanie is an Early Years music specialist who has been working with young children for over thirteen years. After a recent trip to Hungary visiting Early Years schools she very much wants to bring back the essence of developing the whole child through music and other holistic approaches. Using the Kodaly philosophy of child-centred learning through music she runs her own Early Years classes, works in primary schools and for Wakefield Theatre Performance Academy and also uses singing for mental health and wellbeing for young people and adults.
Annie is an experience yoga and pilates teacher in Wakefield and owner of Pilates 4 Wakefield. http://

KiddiKoncert – Friday 21st April
The Kiddikoncert this Easter was a huge success! Over 45 parents, grandparents and children attended.
We danced, sang, listened to a range of instruments like the trombone, violin, mandolin, flute, sax and clarinet. The children also got to play percussion instruments together and have a play on our instruments too … some budding sax, violin and trombone plays for sure! AND…. this wasn’t just the children either, there were a few parents having a go too!
