Musical Stories

Join me, mummy bear and baby bear in music land for an hour of musical storytelling and music making. We all know that reading stories to our children is great for their literacy skills, listening, comprehension, language, phonics, storytelling and more.

However, did you know that music can do this too? Music learning develops mathematical skills, co-ordination, gross and fine motor skills, confidence, right-left brain connections, memory and retention and creativity.

Through song we allow children to develop these skills in a fun way, add movement and you create concrete experiences.
This specially devised musical storytelling session combines ideas brought back from Hungary using the Kodaly philosophy with a chance for free musical play and refreshments afterwards.
Age 3 upwards Max 12 places

Woodland Wonders for children – Singing, Creative Arts and Yoga

We had a wonderful time running Woodland Wonders, our second time exploring singing, music, movement, drama and yoga with children aged 4 to 9 approx.

The children enjoyed listening to music, moving like trees, playing singing games and joining Stella the stick insect on her yoga journey.

Ocean Adventures for children – Singing, Creative Arts and Yoga

We had a great time during May half term at Ocean Adventures. The children really enjoyed singing and moving, creating Ocean pictures and a fab yoga story with Annie about Squish the Fish – how bendy were they!

Here are some of the photo’s from the event…

KiddiKoncert – Friday 21st April

The Kiddikoncert this Easter was a huge success! Over 45 parents, grandparents and children attended.

We danced, sang, listened to a range of instruments like the trombone, violin, mandolin, flute, sax and clarinet. The children also got to play percussion instruments together and have a play on our instruments too … some budding sax, violin and trombone plays for sure! AND…. this wasn’t just the children either, there were a few parents having a go too!

Thank you to Jon and Charlie for being a part of this fabulous morning! Jon teaches Guitar and adult ukulele and Charlie teaches singing & trombone. More Kiddikoncerts planned for the Summer!
